Endeca Administrator – E-commerce | JOB DESCRIPTION
•The Endeca Administrator will manage and maintain the Endeca installations for a variety of B2B e-commerce websites, including development, staging, and production Endeca environments.
•The Endeca Administrator will play an integral role in a newly formed Web Development shared service department, working as a part of a cross-functional team including graphic designers, front-end UI developers, UX, SEO/SEM specialists, project managers, Database Administrators, QA engineers and Magento / PHP developers.
•Oversee and maintain the optimal interoperability between Endeca and Magento/PHP within the LAMP stack, across several websites
•Relentlessly optimize and tune the search algorithm for relevancy and performance
•Architect the data pipeline for maximum automation, data integrity, and efficiency
•Perform maintenance on development, staging and production search interfaces Code Page Builder templates.
QUALIFICATIONS
•BS in Computer Science, Masters preferred
•5+ years of experience with administering / managing large datasets within Endeca
•In-depth knowledge of using Endeca for site search, navigation and the Page Builder add-on.
•Extensive knowledge of relational databases and SQL
•Sound understanding of Java, J2EE and JSP.
•Sound understanding of application development lifecycle (SDLC, Agile) and exposure to project management
•Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects
•Excellent attention to detail
