PRINT
the MP287 is brilliant at printing photos, at least at the first glance.
The colors are vibrant and fine details are also reproduced.
But a closer inspection reveals that there is a small amount of graininess all over.
The time it took for our A4 color photo test print was 4 minutes 26 seconds, which
is on par with most other competitors.
SCAN
Fine details are also captured with ease. It takes just 11.6 seconds for the
first scan, while the consecutive scans take 9.5 seconds each. For an A4 size
black and white scan at 200 dpi, it takes 11 seconds. The time to scan a color
photo at 600 dpi is comparatively faster, taking just 54.7 seconds.
COPY
Black copies took 31.6 seconds for the first copy, while the consecutive
copies took 25 seconds each. The PPM was 2.13 in the first minute, and it
reached 2.4 later. Color copies took 61.5 seconds for the first copy, while
the consecutive copies took 39 seconds each. The PPM was 0.98 in the first
minute, and it reached 1.54 later.Thus, The quality of the copies is
remarkably good, with an almost faithful reproduction of the original.
