Cost analysis - finance - Php45,000

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develops product level frozen standards annually / semi-annually. Analyzes period-to-period variances and presents to Marketing Finance
2. Develops frozen standards for new materials throughout the fiscal year
3. Works with Marketing Finance to develop Cost of Sales estimates on new product launches and re-stages
4. Works with the OFMs and Marketing Finance to identify and track cost savings opportunities
5. Partners with the OFMs to analyze monthly COS variances
6. Works with the OFMs on forecasting absorption, PPV and cost savings as part of Fall Forecast, Q2 and Re-estimate
7. Performs make vs. buy analyses and sourcing studies as needed
8. Oversees the following processes / activities
- Development of frozen costs in SAP
- Finished goods valuation for the plant including obsolescence reserves
- Cost estimates for new products / re-stages
- Monthly cost savings tracking
- Month-end variance analyses for select COS accounts
- Ad hoc analyses to support platform / regional manufacturing

Key Competencies/ Skills:

 Business partner orientation
 Strong communication skills in order to work with virtual team members and other Finance personnel
 Robust analytical skills using MS Excel

Experience and Qualifications:

 Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
 SAP and BW experience preferred
