Graphics Artist (with InDesign experience) - Brady Philippines Direct Marketing | JOB DESCRIPTION
•Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
•Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
•Use computer software to generate new images.
•Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
•Draw and print required illustrations and other artwork using relevant software.
•Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
•Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design.
•Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with POCs and/or supervisors and make the necessary changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Must have relevant knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of varying designs, artwork.
•Must be able to create a design in less than 10 minutes
•Must have above average comprehension skills to ensure instructions are clearly carried out.
•Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
•Must be an expert in using relevant design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc
•Can type fast
•Internet Savvy
•Relevant experience in other companies that produce catalogs and brochures
•Must have excellent English communication skills both spoken and written
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment.
•Must be able to pay strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Must have excellent organizational skills
•Must be able to work independently
•Must be a team player
•Must be comfortable working in the night shift
